Tyler Childs is the Director of Events and Marketing at CSTT Sports Management International. He has a BA Honours degree in Kinesiology from Western University and an MA in Coaching and Motor Behaviour at Western. Tyler grew up with a passion for every sport under the sun, so it comes as no surprise that he landed in the sports industry. His community involvement coaching high school hockey and a local AAA baseball program lead to an opportunity with CSTT Sports and he’s never looked back.
Tyler provides support to organizations and entrepreneurs, ensuring their events are streamlined and cost effective. Since 2011, he has lead a team of professionals partnering with over 800 events across North America including the MasterCard Memorial Cup, CIS Final 8, The TrailCross Racing Series, and Dodgeball Canada among others. Tyler was named ‘Planner to Watch’ by SportsEvents Magazine in 2013 and is a contributor to their monthly magazine.
His family owned a hotel in the small town of Wallaceburg, Ontario where Tyler grew up in the world of customer service and travel and Tyler credits exposure to the Travel and Tourism industry from a young age for shaping his path to success. Tyler’s passions beyond sports include: coaching, educating, volunteering, entrepreneurship, and a strong commitment to family. He believes sport is all about teaching partnership, comradery, and lifelong lessons. He strives to share the values and lessons he’s learned along the way in hopes that others will do the same.
