Jonathan Irving currently plays hockey at Culver Military Academy in Indiana, U.S.A.  Joining Culver because of their stellar education, Irving is balancing life as a student-athlete while living away from his home in Canada.  Standing at 5’10” Irving, a Junior plays Centre for the Varsity A team.

His passion for hockey also has lead Jonathan into work with Hockey Education Reaching Out Society (HEROS) an organization that provides free hockey programs to at risk youth across Canada. Irving volunteers his time and shares his skills when he can, including by contributing to One Million Skates.

The skills he would most like to gain from hockey are the ability to execute and succeed in an environment that is extremely competitive. Jonathan’s aspirations off of the ice are to strengthen his knowledge through school so that I can apply it for success in the future.
