Hockey Education Reaching Out Society (HEROS) has teamed up with the Aeroplan Member Donation Program as a great way for our supporters to contribute to the HEROS program.
The Aeroplan member donation program makes supporting HEROS really easy. Instead of donating money, you donate Aeroplan miles instead. These miles are used by HEROS participants and volunteers selected to represent HEROS at special events like the NHL Willie O’Ree Skills Weekend, and the Congressional Hockey Challenge and other meaningful opportunities.
The Aeroplan member donation program helps members support Canadian-based initiatives that are working to improve lives and assist communities locally, across Canada and around the world.
Hockey Education Reaching Out Society (HEROS) is a volunteer-driven charity that uses the game of ice hockey to teach life-skills and empower Canada’s marginalized youth. HEROS’ free programs provide young people a team for life by celebrating in their first goal on the ice and assisting in their dreams off the ice.
Each charitable donation you make will be topped up by a 10% contribution from Aeroplan. This applies for all donations to all accounts, all the time.
HEROS has set a goal of reaching 50,000 miles by July 1 and we are already over half way there! Thank you so much for helping us to reach our goal and for supporting our organization!
